After the excitement of the Boys Bangkok opening I was very surprised to find Tawan bar packed with extra stools out and atanding room only - and this a Monday evening.



The Manager though it was because of the Gay Pride Week - we full every night now. He knew nothing of the Nation V Singaporean party in Phuket. From the number of buffed young Chinesey looking asians around I think a number were enjoying a Bangkok stopover.



The cabaret was fine and the naughty bits seem to entrance the audience. The guys were looking very fit and there are a number of new more slender boyz. With competition coming up - The Thailand Bodybuilding Association Competition in Lopburi (?) - as advised by ajarntrade - I was told is on the day after Loy Krathong - I make theat November 17th? Then on 9th December there is the King of Tawan Competition.

Will there be a Queen of Tawan Bar later in the year???

Don't hold your breath, dear.  Nursey holds that title for life and with hormone replacement therapy, that could be a  long life.

wowpow:  What a coincidence. I was at Tawan for the first time on Monday night.  Now I need to mentally re-create the room to figure out who/where you were!  I was seated with a charming 21-yr old CBC (Canadian born Chinese) who is currently my houseguest in BKK after he spent he weekend at Nation V.

where is lopburi? is it in bkk or further south near pattaya?  

lopburi is about 3 hours north of bangkok. there are regular (hourly?) buses from mochit bus station, and 7 - 10 comfortable train services a day from hualamphong railway station.
