What's your budget, Box?
Will you be taking a course in BKK or undergoing medical treatment of some sort? |

Is that 8,000B for the entire stay, per week or per month?
Boxer dear, I'm not one to gossip but word down at the Pong is that you're getting a facelift. Any truth to this rumour started by that Florence Nightingale wannabe? |

Quote: Is that you need spaying, m'dear. 8,000 a month is a tall order for something nice. Homi - didn't you have a 10,000 available? Bit sad that there hasn't been a bit more genuine help here - it makes the BKK queens look a little less than friendly? |

I suspect that, at that sort of budget, there would be a 3-6 month minimum stay and you would be out somewhere beyond Lad Prao or beyond Soi 71 on Sukhumvit. P.Thana Tower at 58/1 Ladprao Rd Central was available in August at 8,500 per month for a minimum stay of 30 days - contact Chris Alley at Phone 05 141 3315(mob), 02 954 6612 or Fax         02 954 6612 or www.moveandstay.com/bangk...?period=3. I have no idea what it is like, however.

www.thesunriseresidence.com/Room_rental_rate_sun.htm This rather smart new place had studios at B14,000 a month but have gone up to B20,000++ but for 2 months it might be worth enquiring.

You might want to check out some of the smaller places on Soi Kasemsan 1, across the street from Mabunkhrang and the National Stadium. The BTS stop is at the end of the soi. I stayed at White Lodge three years ago, when the Reno Hotel was overbooked. The White lodge has basic rooms, with a/c and bath. 24 hour lock box for your valuables at the front desk. Friendly staff and a small travel desk. There are two small resturants on either side of the White Lodge, as well as a resturant at the Reno Hotel, about 50 feet away. The Reno is larger, a little more expensive, with a swimming pool. Lots of small guest house type places along this Soi. Here is a site with information about places to stay in the area. www.eccthai.com/lifestyle...dation.asp
