I have never had a massage in Thailand... so, bear with me.



What, exactly, is the protocol? You get a masseur - you choose some cute guy - and you go into a room.



Then what? He starts by giving you a massage?



How, exactly, does the transition happen to something more... um, erotic?

 

Do you ask? Do you assume he'll go along with whatever you have in mind? Is there any danger that you'll assume too much and get too little? Is there anything that's considered off limits in Thailand, a real cultural no-no? Do you just know that certain massage places are 'only' that?



How does this work?

a real massage or an erotic massage ?..if it's the sexy one you can easily tell the if the establishment has it on offer..and you will be lead all the way no matter how innocent you are.



Or if it's a genuine Thai massage for aching bones..my addiction..you can still easily tell if that's all thats on offer.  

Every time I get a massage it ends up being a religious experience.

Usually in the massage you have to "lead" if you what something.I usually go to BLue House massage and off a certain boy because i know hes not a dud.

 After about 20 mins massage i get him to "service"my needs,telling/leading him.

Anything cultural they wont do? Ummmmmmmm,not really ,you have to ask around,what did you have in mind? Do tell and i will tell you?

If you've not done the massage before in Thailand, then best to go somewhere decent.  Note that a 'traditional' massage is just that... the real Thai culture thing.  You're looking for a non traditional sensual massage.  I would recommend the likes of the Albury Mens Club in Bangkok (check out Dreaded Neds pages) for starters, where they will make some effort to look after you.  You walk in, reply to the receptionist you're there for massage (oil or cream options offered... won't mean squat diddly first time but price difference neglibible, so go for broke) and the nice thing about Albury is that you can arrive and shower/steam and change into a full length 'gown' with all your own clothes and personals put away in a locker with the key on your wrist.

You could have gone straight to the communial sitting/bar area in your street clothes from reception (change/shower after making boy selection), or having showered as described, in your gown.  But once there, you're facing the 'gym' where the 'lads' are on disply to attract your eye.  Albury has captains who will help you/guide you to make a right selection... they even have picture books with the 'lads' pics in with a code as to who is top or bottom or 'versatile'.  But the lads are all great, and know what to do even if you don't.  Just follow their lead.  If you plumb for an hour massage, you'll get a 'Swedish' style very pleasurable massage for about 40mins, leading up to what you really went there for.  If you have any worries, speak to the captain honestly before hand, and he will make sure all is well.  The Thai's don't think about sex with the Victorian hangups as we 'farang' do, so feel free to tell them true, without embarrassment, and you'll be glad you did.  And if you really like the massage bit, then you can buy for example a longer 2hr massage, and of course the sex bit will happen in the last 20mins.  Or have 2 or even 3 lads take care of you... the house will give a discount on their fee, but each of the lads will expect their same dues as if you were on your own with each of them.  And likewise so should you:-).  But I would suggest taking just the one first time.  When selecting, go for the lad who best turns you on!

Really?  Which farang are you talking about?  Just because you're not getting any at home doesn't mean you can tar all of us with the same brush.



Many of my close Thai girlfriends tell me that Thai guys usually take the "wham, bham, thank you ma'am" approach to lovemaking (partly due to the influence of Japanese porn)  although the younger ones (under 30) seem to be  getting better at romance and sensual intimacy.
