Im thinking of going to phuket for about 5 days in early feb of next year.Having not been there for about 2 years , i would like to know how it now compares to pattaya ,with ref to the bar and boy scene.

about the same as it did two years ago, but if you mean really early in Feb, then the Phuket Gay Festival is on 2-6 Feb and that may add a little more colour
