Yes, went there early last year. Very nice place, but pretty quiet. Very cheap. Brand new beachside bungalow $40USD a nite. Hired 2 locals with motorbikes to take me and a friend around the island for the day. Stopped at a few beaches, villages, etc, total cost about $15 USD. Highly recommend it.

Phu Quoc
Phu Quoc is famous for being the centre for vietnamese fish sauce and the whole place seems to smell of it when I went there a few years ago. I don't know why anyone would want to go there, other than the boys on the fishing boats can be very cute - but how to get hold of them.
