Brad the Impala posted the following about this time last year
I think it is worth reposting Also try this gay travel agent

There are now five gay bars in Chaweng Beach. All of them have hosts to off, four are grouped together in the Soi behind Starbucks, and the best appointed, and most upmarket of all the bars is The Site, which is down a Soi beside Osteria Restaurant, opposite Tradewinds Bungalows.
The Site has about ten hosts, and according to the Barman, up to four or five customers at a time. The bar also offers massage services. The drinks seem relatively expensive however, for what it is, with four Black Label whiskies working out at 670 Baht.
The other bars behind Starbucks are K Club, with about eight hosts, and its immediate neighbour Corner Guys, which has a similar number of hosts, and an interesting style of decoration, with what appear to be dead birds hanging from the ceiling! Furthest into the Soi is Sun Boys Bar, relatively quiet in comparison to the other three, with just three hosts. First in the Soi is a bar whose name I neglected to note, being completely distracted by the appalling skin condition, turning deepest black in patches, of the guy outside hustling for business. Black Label whisky in K Club and Corner Guys are 120 Baht a glass, with local whisky 80 Baht a glass.
80% of the hosts in these bars appear to be genuinely gay, veering towards camp.
Of the discos, the most favoured of these by gay guys is Green Mango, where there is an area where gays tend to congregate, which can best be described as being by the wooden bridge. In the lane leading up to the Green Mango there also a dozen freelancers hustling for business.
The best reason for visiting Samui remains the Muang Kalaypan Hotel, at one end of Chaweng Beach. Originally built by, and still owned by a distant member of the Royal family it is charmingly eccentric and wittily designed, minimalist and traditional northern Thai mixture. It is run more as a hobby than as a business, being originally built to house visiting friends, and is also fairly phallocentric, for example the erect penis toilet paper holders. If there is a male member of staff who is not gay we have yet to meet them, my BF finds the staff, for a relatively smart hotel very friendly. No problem with bringing back a guest too. It is expensive, cheaper rooms starting at 2,600 Baht per night in the low season, but it is good value, and the restaurant is excellent, and I love the individual Salas by the beach.
