Rumor has it that Kaos is now closed for a period of time. Anyone know what happened or why?

 Re: Kaos Closed?
My informants tell me its closed for 60 days for having 2 customers under the age 20 but over 18 but I would not be at all surprized if its back 1st december with a different name or front door lol
Staff and go go boys can be 18 or over customers have to be 20 or over crazy I know.

 Re: Kaos Closed?
My informant says that it is closed for 60 days. This was due to underage boys, and despite a recent accommodation with the police. Not playing the game, eh wot?

 Re: Informants...
Thats not very nice VBBB Im taking about my friends who work and own bars, If I had friends in the police force I would not have paid a fortune to a blackmailer who scammed me naughty man.

 Re: bitter
I think you are very angry and bitter about the misfortune you had LMTU.I must admit if he approaxched you and if it was the same gentleman then he approached me too, only with me calling for his friend to back him up.If its any consolation,i doubt if your the only one he has got.
I was lucky, after talking to him,he called his friend and they assisted me and left quickly and politely refusing to answer my questions.whether it was the same ones who met you i dont know Sir,but dont feel bad because you think he got it over you and scammed you,I once remember a smart man who stayed at MONTYS BB who met a boy in Sundance Karaoke and invited the boy back to his room, only to find his camera gone when the boy left.Amazing, happens to all of us when our guard is down, the point im making is,when i walk the streets my guard is up,thats when you let yours down.
The thing is,GET OVER IT,it happened,ok you got scammed, make sure you follow the law next time .
Maybe i was just lucky?

 Re: bitter
I always found Kaos to be a nice friendly well run bar. The owner has had a couple run ins with the police and I hope they will now leave him alone. Running a bar in slow times in thailand is not easy and somehow he has always kept his standards high.

 Re: bitter
I suspect the owner is only targetted because he is a farang. He was certainly moaning about other bars in sunee, similar to his, that have an almost complete dance troupe of underage on stage at any one time and who never get raided. He said, and I quote, 'if the police wanted more money then I would pay it'
kaos is a well run bar...shame

 Well run?
Kaos has been closed so many times in the last 5 years I wouldn't want to try and count them.
I doubt 'well run' is a good description. Anyhow, I wouldn't want to be in a simular business. How do they do it (run a bar) and WHY?

 Re: Well run?
Sometimes I have sat in the bar oppposite to Kaos, and saw the Kaos owner sitting outside his front door with a sad look on his face.Poor bastard,I didnt feel the need to run up to hug him but I thought he looks worried and unhappy.
He doesnt look that old,he looks like a accountant or schoolteacher type with his glasses.Anybody knows his name or background?

 Re: Well run?
I would have thought the ones you should hug are the Irish Hanger on or Lord Longford( the postman) types and friends of Colin or best of all Zorro 911. The guy with the face mask and the umberella.. The silly part is he takes off the mask when he goes into the smoke filled bar and then put it on when he walks down the street.
Thats life.!!!
And then there are of course the other lying pretenders, who are known by many but have no respect for what they are doing. But evreyone just sits and smiles, but know the bad side to the person. People who know more than other people think. Thats Pattaya where some idiots reside.
The best part is they think they are anonymou name free. LOL

 Re: Well run?
Its interesting that the police flex their muscles by shutting kaos for two months simply because they found someone who was over 18 but under 20 inside having a drink. Of course, many will say this is the law and must be obeyed. However,we all know that this is the equivalent of fining a motorist for driving at 35 in a 30 limit whilst other cars are doing a 100.
I am sure Kaos is targetted because of the farang owner.
