Than a naked Thai boy squatting in the shower using a scrub brush and your shampoo to wash his jeans.

I had gone out for a paper and a short walk one morning in Bangkok and left him sleeping.  

When I got back to the hotel room he was ~ yes ~ squatting ... (not naked, but does underwear count as cute?) and cleaning my shoes.



Granted, not quite as cute as the jeans thing (did he wash yours as well?), but endeariing nonetheless.

We arrived in Hua Hin in the afternoon, unpacked, showered, and lay around resting for awhile, watching soccer on TV ... he insists on betting on these things.

He walked idly over to his suitcase and fumbled around until he produced a small pair of scissors, sat on the bed, rested my feet up on his legs, and began a long and quite involved pedicure.  All wordlessly ... almost trance-like. ( And I have butt-ugly feet!     )

We drove out to visit his sister ... she lives in Bangkok with her Japanese husband and new baby boy out Sukhumvit Rd close to one of the last few Skytrain stations.  She greeted us (husband was at work) and took us up to their small apartment, where we drank tea and Uncle Suphot spent an hour playing with his new nephew.



He was absorbed with the kid, and she spoke no english, so I was all alone (kind of) to sit and watch my guy establish his bonds with this child/relative.

When it was time to say goodbye, his sister (with kid) walked us back to the truck, and there, Suphot displayed an immense moment of spontaneous tenderness ... which I caught quickly on film.







I thought of this moment while we drove away, and realized I loved him even more than the day before.





It's the Little Things, for sure.

Or maybe it's the way they bend over and spend as long as it takes to turn up, adjust and re-adjust  their pant's cuff so it looks perfect.

.... or spending half an hour in front of a mirror every 4 or 5 days shaving ... with tweezers!!

Boris, as long as the soles of the feet are pointed away from the other person, then offending someone should not be an issue.



My guy rather enjoys his toes being sucked, so I would gather the "foot" thing does not apply in the sack!

It sure is cute to see Thai men carry babies around, and to stop now and then to kiss them in the manner Smiles' bf does in the picture. This whole baby worship thing in Thailand is cute. A baby will get gang-kissed by whole groups of relatives, or even by strangers on the street.

A few cute actions from my guy, of course all in the eye of the beholder:



The time he snuck around a corner at the Soi Boikow market to avoid being seen tugging his underware out of the crack of his ass.  He saw me peering around the corner and got embarassed...sorry now that I looked.



The time he was pretending that he knew how to fry an egg and couldn't figure out why it wasn't turning white, until I informed him that the stove needed to be turned on first.



The time he wanted to sit at the front of the speedboat as it zoomed from Ban Pai to Koh Samet with his hair blowing wildly in the wind.  He looked a bit like DiCaprio for a minute...cute as hell.



The time I found him sitting in front of the bathroom mirror making monster faces.  This happened just a few days before he had his two front teeth replaced following a motorbike accident...I laughed until I dropped.



The time I played a prank on him and took the ring I had purchased for him from the bathroom sink when he was showering.  He came out of the bathroom (a year later) completely dressed holding a bunch of soiled clothes in his left hand to conceal the ring missing from his finger. He then informed me in a frenzied manner that he had to go to his home right away to get some medicine because his stomach was upset.  This time I didn't laugh...I felt terrible, but he was just sooooooo cute.



The time I looked up in the middle of giving him a blow job and saw him staring at the cartoons on TV...as he instantly shifted his eyes to the ceiling and started groaning....son-of-a-bitch!

On cuteness: after hours of naked play beforehand, I do find the guy afterwards standing there in his white underwear pretty cute.



On toe sucking: Most guys will accommodate every little request from this old grumblebum, but a few do draw the line at this (no matter how washed and buffed the feet are, I should add)



On baby kissing: A Lao friend told me they have a word for the (socially acceptable) practise of kissing the scrotum of new born boys. I never forgot the story, but I forgot the word.
