I would like to buy some stocks at the Bangkok stock market. Could someone explain to me how to do? Any regulation against farangs buying stocks in Thailand? Do you need a work permit (which I don't have)? Practically, how can you do it? On the internet? Do you need to do it through a bank?<br>

..... the brokerage on the second floor of the Central Condo, the large condo immediately next to Wat Chai (a couple of blocks east of the Second Road and South Pattaya Road junction). Just go in there with your passport and set up an account. Any time I have bought and sold, I have done it face-to-face rather than using the internet, so not sure about using the internet. I would assume that you have to have a Thailand mailing address for them to send you mail, dividend checks, etc. and a Thailand bank account for direct deposit of some company's dividends. The process for me was very straight forward. <p></p><i></i>
