A friend reckons he can get a good deal at the Goldern Beach Hotel in Pattaya and has asked me what I think. I've never stayed there but know the position on Second Road. Personally it would drive me mad to be on the far side of Second Road which would mean you'd probably have to cross the road everytime you went anywhere.
A quick look on the web doesn't look too promising with comments about bed bugs and a noisy position.
Anyone got any personal experience?

It sounds as if your friend should keep looking if the reviews on the internet are anything to go by. It sounds like he can expect less than bargained for. here is the site for Late Stays that has great prices and their hotels a usually fairly reasonable.

Are you sure that is the correct spelling of Goldern?
I found this place on Google: Golden Beach Hotel but with local spellings I suppose it could be a different place! |
