There's a good example over at CFS where one poster raved about a boy in a massage venue and another has a miserable experience with the same boy. The second poster went out of his way to find the recommenced boy and ended up with a total disaster.

Lack of consistency, a bad night, a different farang attraction, or something else, who knows? Bottom line: it's not like buying a toaster.

CFS go to entry #160

We use to do a good guy/ bad guy thread with the idea of recommending those that gave good service verses those that gave poor service. It was a way of rewarding and it worked. Also let us support those bars that went out oif the way to provide a better service.

When did it ever work? The trolls, the weirdos, those with an axe to grind and those with a vested interest makes many (most?) of the good/bad reports worthless. Also, defining good and bad is just too individualized.

Granted, sometimes you can follow a general trend of quality and if some posters with good track records chime in there might be some reliability if the post does not degrade into a food fight. Give it a try luvthai and see how it turns out.

The problem with recommendations of "good service" is, in my humble opinion, forgetting that the providers of these services are people, and not meat (or robots). So, the attitude of the customer and the chemistry between service provider and customer probably has everything to do with the quality of the service and the pleasure experienced by the customer.

In the words of the yard sale trade: One man's trash is another man's treasure.

It did use to work but the last couple of years the trolls seem to be comming out of the woodwork. So now I agree it is probably not a good idea tho it was very imformative and gave the better boys a boost to their business.

Or to put it another way - Did #11 at Solid Bar come across for you?! Is this some sort of "try before you buy" exercise, Steve?
