Just wondering if these 2 bars are still going strong. Anyone been there lately?? Are the guys all still over 18, or have they put everyone in danger by hiring under 18s? I had some great times there in the past but at one stage thought the guys were looking a bit young. Are there any other bars open in the afternoon, besides GC??

I visited both bars two weeks ago. All the six guys in NB looked about 19 to 24 yo - there were four of them servicing another customer both times that I went to NB so I just had a drink and left to see the other bars. There was a very hot 19yo Isaan looking boy that I wanted to see at NB who was very busy on each visit.

Golden Cock had some good looking guys and I took a 21yo upstairs for some fun. All the guys looked legal age there.

The other bars in the soi:

Super A seems to be running 24 hours and they have a tout sitting on the corner most of the day looking for customers. The guys there looked legal age and above and I spent some time with a tall, slender Isaan boy who was a lot of fun in their upstairs room. Don't recommend the rooms too much as they only have one with a shower. I was in a hurry so it suited me at the time.

Solid Bar had a good selection of hotties just above legal age and the bar was full of customers when i visited just for a drink.

There were some very hot guys were in the TT Pub just down from Solid on the way to Tawan. I offed two guys on different nights, 20yo and 18yo and they were both excellent. The management were not pushy, good to chat with and apparently the place turns into a disco after 1am staying open till very late. i will be back there again next time I am in Bangkok to check out what happens at the disco.

There's also one called 'Twinks', same side as Golden Cock. Opens at 1300 but slim picking until latter. It used to be a bathroom supply and fixture showroom and there's still some stuff left over. Very nice manager but the lady boy who subs for him sometimes is a little strange. In spite of the suggestive name, all are of age, all types. It's also a message venue, 500B for massage (nude) and room, min suggested tip 1000B and drinks at 100B. I don't know the off fee. All the boys in street clothes.

There's another sign above Twinks, Complex something, left over from a closed business.

Unless your going to do it right in the bar, I don't recommend using any of the short time rooms in this area, no AC, no water and not clean. Go over to BBB Inn on Rama 4, 500B for 3 hours.

Twinks: I was at this place in March (early afternoon), just for a drink. There was no ladyboy at the reception but a friendly guy in his earl 20ies. The place was run down then and dirty. I talked to the old guy who runs that place and he told me that the boys were of legal age. I simply laughed at him and pointed at 2 boys who were obviously underage. He had to admit then that they were just 16 and 17 but they "would only do massage". Good luck for every body having a "massage", given by a 16yo in the nude and police comes in. Never been there again.

From what I can recall GC never ever had too-young lads. In fact-they seem to refresh their staff far too late so that they seem to grow up with that bar for years and more. Have they by now -finally- repaired the sofa's or even renewed them? The skills of NB's seem to be limited to the in-house service-read a funny report of someone who offed what seemed a hottie from there on another site.
TT-mentioned above-has closed after just a few weeks. Twinks has to several other posters mentioned they could ''organise something'' if wanted-surroundings less as salubrious say all. I think this used to be the old bar opposite Twilight (sorry-forgot that name already-it used to be BKK's best known...) -failed there-and then had several other venues-all also failing in a short time.

Twinks is this pits. The Mamasan is aggressive and has horrid body odor, the staff are not attractive, and the surroundings are lugubrious. Only if you must.

After a long walk round some of the Silom shops I passed Twinks on my way back to Tarntawan about 8pm.....it didn't look much of a place but decided a cool beer and a few minutes of aircon might be ok. It was the mamsan who brought me in, but it had to go see to something so a very affible waiter from outside supplied the info...i said i was in-by to check the place out and a cool beer...no massage boy today.....and he was ok...no pressure....

There was already another customer in the next booth table with what looked a fairly young boy, but he may well have been of age....and the waiter when describing the boys on offer pressed the point that they have many young boys.... so although the guys hanging around were of age it seemed to me that younger could be offered...which, i'm afraid, puts it into the dodgy catagory for me.It may well be they just specialise in young looking boys of legal age.....but i would be doubtful.

One boy he did introduce to me as one of these young boys was indeed 18...he did have original id..he took the card over and allowed me to inspect it closely...the boy from issan was fairly new and very very cute indeed. I asked if they have a photo album of all the boys...but no such handy selling tool available.

Twinky boys of legal age are certainly my cup of tea...but i dont think i'll return for an in-house massage due to the fact that i'm fairly sure under 18s could well be available here and as Searcher commented.......not a great senario to be part of if there is a visit from the BIB.

The only business i might be prepared to consider with them......might be a hotel visit if staying at the Tarntawan......as it is known just how strict they are on the age thing...and when i did mention i stayed there he did say they had boys who would be able to visit there no problem (and previously had) with all the correct i.d.

I am not sure where all this underage speculation comes up with Twinks Bar, other than it's just the suggestive name. It is uninformed speculation, nothing more. I though discussions about underage bar workers in any form was not allowed in the posting guidelines?

"Underage speculation" ?? The "manager" ADMITTED that the boys were 16 /17 y. old. His excuse was that the boys would only do massage. So I did not speculate, just report about facts.

How much more 'informed' do you need to be than coming ,as it did, directly from the Twinks managers own mouth?....as Searcher confirmed......

And here is some more 'uninformed speculation'......which i didn't mention in my post because i gave no opportunity for the facts to be presented before me at the time.......was that on introducing the young looking 18 year old issan lad and noting my disinterest in having a liason there and then........the waiter/mamsan proceeded to advise me younger boys could be made available if i was willing to wait or advise a time to return....

Facts...nothing more! This from someone who joins in a discussion about potential underage guys then proceeds to advise us that we may be breeching posting guidlines.....after having just done so 'in any form' himself ......clever.

OK, you guys. I really don't want to have my way with a cute cuddly underage age boy, so please tell me where I will NOT find them. I sure would NOT want to run into such a thing, so please list all the places where I might find them so I DON"T go there. Also, what's the best time not to find them in the bar, so of course I DON"T show up at that time. Also don't restrict your comments to just Bangkok let me know about Pattaya and Chiang Mai too. Got any photos?
