Reply Smiles, sweet, this is starting to resemble Cher's "last concert tour." If and when you do retire to Thailand for six months each year, I'm betting you will find this board even more inviting then, reading and posting, given the vagaries of expat life here. By the way, Where do you plan to call "home" when you move here ?

The background to this was Smiles retirement coming up in 2007 and his decision to make Hua Hin home for 6 months a year

I feel so sad that two of my dearest friends, Hedda and Smiles, can't get along. What is this world coming to? My wish for the new year is that Hedda and Smiles would kiss and make up. What I wouldn't do to see Kansas and Canada together again.
