Reading the latest Pattayagay forums,i came across a insurance type policy called FAST.Farang aid and support.

They can assist you in case of emergencies.

I think this is a great idea.I know there are several pattaya residents such as John Botting who take time out to visit foreigners in the pattaya cells and i remember talking to a man a few years ago who also done it voluntarily.It sounds very good service and i think is needed.

 Whilst there are some wonderful business people in Pattaya who would go out of their way to help you ,this group also assists with making sure you get medical care etc.

I know these people and what they offer is an insurance policy. Its basic and gives assistance only. It doesn't pay medical bills etc. you have to do that yourself.



However, it has a place and if you are not 'connected' here it could be an invaluable service.
