In the Pattaya Mail this week the two that can't be names are photographed with the UK Ambassador at some function and named. Wonder if they had a word in the ear of the Ambassador about KQ's case???

Nice to see that contacts are being kept up with Higher Powers regarding issues around gay businesses in Pattaya.
Mr Botting's alluded-to pictures are here, with the men in question wearing 'comfortable' clothes . . . (not often the case):  http://www.pattayamail.com/current/travel.shtml  (Just scroll down the page a bit . . . there's a lot of stuffed-shirt photos to wade through before landing on the picture in question).

Ambassador Quinton Quayle is referred to as " ... witty and inspirational ... "

Cheers ...

wasn't there a western movie with a hanging judge called JJ Deeds ??

presumably one of the duties of the British Ambassador ( or any) is to inquire after the welfare of one of Her Majesties citizens.

and if our Rotarian expired..he died an innocent man.

I was waiting for someone to come up with the Rotary link and me.

No, he was a member of another club in town, and someone I have never met before.

There is a BBC TV drama series called Judge John Deed - and I have always assumed that that was the source of our poster's name.

See http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/judge/

Martin Shaw stars as Judge John Deed, a man who is not afraid to question the establishment in the name of justice.

Your fellow employees were obviously showing a sense of irony, when giving you that nickname.

George.

I was completely unaware that there was a place in the dark hills of the Ozarks called "Bangkok".  Pray tell!  Or is that just a code name for the "moonshine" still where you worked?
