My bf and I will be in Thailand for 2 weeks and we have decided rather than doing the same same old thing each day, we would do at least one thing new each day.

Can anyone give us details on a trip to Koh Larn...such as take ferry and then taxi to the beach...which beach apparently there are 5. or just hire a longboat to take and pick up directly to beach.. Whats the condition of the water there these days and what beach has the best combination of swimming, eating, shopping and relaxing?

I read the article in gaybutton, but seems to be quite old (a few years at least).



Thanks and any other ideas would be great for new things to do each day.

 

last time I went there were two groups of us. We hired a speedboat at 2,000 Baht (1000 each of course) and off we went. He took us to all the beaches and we decided which one to go to. He stayed on the beach for as long as we wanted him. Then when we were ready to go home, he took us back.



The beach we choose was  small, but had chairs and food/drink etc. The beach was nice, water very clear. Could rent jetski's also.
