Having seen the parade in Phuket, and having been told of the parade in Pattaya, where it seems that the boy bars are allowed to participate, the parades there appear to be much larger and a much bigger crowd draw for the event.
I understand the differences in the way the local governments handle the gay parade in each locale but I wonder if the Bangkok pride organization rules prohibiting the involvement of boy bars is stifling the parade and what it could become if they did allow boy bars to be involved.
I realize that there are more politics involved but is there not a way to change this rule to get more involvement, more excitement, more crowds and thus more funds raised for the charities that the BKK pride group helps to fund?
