I have been assured be several people that some owners close a few days before end of month in order to avoid staff salary payments. Claiming that there isn’t any money left and therefore the bar is up for sale is common practice some owners get away with for too long. A few days later, the bar is surprise, surprise, open again and surely with new staff, and the same game is starting all over again.
