As attractive as most of the young gentlemen were (and aren't they a bit young for some of the ageist trolls posting on this thread?), I have some regret that almost all of them were bar workers of one sort or another (waiters, servers, bartenders, gogo staff, etc.). In fact, Pride in the Park was dominated by the bar-related workers (Thais) and the foreigners who are directly or indirectly involved in owning or running their establishments. In that sense, as a true Gay Pride event, it was really a failure- which may also explain why attendance is not so high. I saw a lot more gay Thai people than were at the whole event that same afternoon at my gym.
Something needs to be done to bring in the "normal" gays in Bangkok, both as participants and as managers. I think the bar-heavy aspect of the event would tend to scare them off due to the stigma. I don't have anything against bars in general or the ones in the event in particular, but I do think this is a problem for the event as it relates to the general gay population.
Ajarntrade: Do you belong to some sort of strict protestant sect? I hear echoes of it... "My god is the only true god... anyone who believes in another god is wrong and going to hell..." Get over it. Some people like blondes, some people like brunettes, some like muscle, some don't. No accounting for taste. And the physiques on display had nothing to do with teens at all- maybe you should check your lens prescription.
