I looked up the archives and found a posting by zzz in the thread "The worst is yet to come" about a prediction by astrologer Soraija, who had previously, or so it was said, predicted 9/11:

"He is now predicting a dire year for Thailand in 2005, with major terrorist attacks in Bangkok and the South, a major plane crash, an epidemic of bird flu, a severe drought followed by massive floods, an earthquake in N Thailand, the collapse of the tourist industry and the crash of the Stock market and Thai Economy, and to top it all a possible coup."

Well, 2005 is nearly over.... it wasn't so bad, was it? Is he making any prediction for 2006?

Well, there was a series of temblors last week in northern Thailand, disconcerting enough that evacuation drills were either being planned or actually conducted.

A strange thing was that they were not all aftershocks at the same fault, there were two active centers.

most of those things have happened with the tsunami ( today being the anniversary) so the astrologer sounds fairly accurate although timing may be out.

you are up against the impossible macaroni21 -  most people have not read the predictions carefully or else are willing to interpret just about anything as matching the predictions or make comments as vague as the predictions to support them, so this charlatan will continue to be popular!
