my attention is captured by a recent snap of our esteemed Pope Benedict XVI named 2005 "Anti-Gay Person of the Year", and the cover of a book sent to me a year ago about the flamoboyant Aussie TV personality chef , the late Bernard King. Once having had the pleasure of meeting the colorful King, I deemed his as one of the two funniest men on the planet ( the other lives in Pattaya !).

I'm drawn to the remarkable similarity between the two..in clothing and facial features and a preponderence to be obsessed with gay kulture..are they related by chance ?

perhaps Homitern or mrsydney can solve my dilemna.

Good ole Bernard KIng died Dec 2002 at his boyfriends Gold Coast home, fell off a garden wall ,possible heart attack they reckon.Anybody remember him as a judge on the talent shows,he use to be rude crude and straight to the point.I think he was on "pot of gold".
Then a cooking company sacked him for talking about how bad single mothers were in which i agreed with him.Make the bitches work.
He use to own several restaurants in the 1970 s and 80 s in Sydney.
Use to live with his Toy boy BF in Sydneys KIngsford until he moved to the GOLD COAST in Queensland in Sept 2002.Wasnt such a good move.

The Pope looks rather creepy to me in that photo and reminds me more of Uncle Fester from the Addams Family.

Funny you should say that. I was thinking of Uncle Fester playing Santa...which I hope he will soon be doing: Ein Deutsches Requiem. :clown:
