any dates to avoid in july /august

PostAuthor: lonelywombat » Sat 10 May, 2008 6:21 am

My friend in the travel industry has had his holiday plans disrupted by the Beijing Olympics and the Popes visit to Australia

No leave during this high period of activity is over. FGS

From memory there are some Thai holidays in late july early august. Bar closures and so on

Is there some dates he should avoid.

Great Holiday Schedule

PostAuthor: 1PR4BKK » Sat 10 May, 2008 8:50 am

John:

Thanks for the great Public Holidays 2008 schedule. Where did you find it? Do you know if one is available for 2009? In December 2008 I will begin my six months stay in the LOS. It would be nice to know the official public holidays of the country where I will be temporarily residing.

If you will be here it is hardly a problem - buy a calendar, and they will all be marked!

who cares if a holiday

PostAuthor: jolyjacktar » Sun 11 May, 2008 4:14 am

just because there might be a public holiday durring your propossed stay it doesnt mean you should avoid the dates. The bars might be closed for 1 night - so what, that shouldnt stop you having a good time. Bars arnt the only thing to do you know.
I always seem to be out when theres a public holiday, it just means 1 less night to get plastered :bom: . i normaly take a boy to the movies and have an early night for the fun and games.
I spoke into his eyes. " I thought you died a long,-- a long long time ago".
" OH NO! not me, i never lost control, your face to face with the Man who sold the world"
