Alangkarn

I picked up a leaflet about this show in Ambiance. Is it worth seeing? Is it likely that my Thai friend would enjoy it?

Do all Thais enjoy the same sort of thing?
________________________________________________________________________
I saw it a couple of years ago when it opened and was disappointed. Boxer reports that it has improved a lot.

Without further clarification, I believe we are to assume the original poster means "an uneducated young male prostitute from rural Thailand". Seems to be the default for this board, anyway.

Now, now, BG, we wouldn't want to be as uncharitable as that. One man's uneducated young male prostitute from rural Thailand may be another (American) man's $boyfriend$.
Min at NS Travel lined up my tirp and we were picked up at hotel and delivered back at the end of the evening. Bring your camera as you can take pictures if you pay a few bhat. The production is all in Thai so you probably won't understand the naration but the show is much like the sound and light show at the pyaramids in Egypt. Designed to show the glory of the past.

Thanks for such helpful comments, particularly from an all-knowing, all-seeing contributor (or so he thinks), who may wish , in future, to restrict his calumnies to situations of which he is knowledgeable and to people whom he actually knows.

Hi Nelson,

It's not really to difficult understand for Farang. Mostly we see the performance just one time, so if u would like to see Thai cultural style in Pattaya, Alankarn is still in u chocices. The fighting elephants scene is very great light and sound.
